The Interculture Center
Interculture is a center of competence under the Department of Culture working to increase knowledge and to present international and intercultural art and culture. The center is located at the Union Scene.

Interculture organizes international concerts and performances, exhibitions and seminars, projects aimed at children and youth. The center also promotes intercultural knowledge and runs the Masala textile workshop for immigrant women.
Interculture at Union Scene should:
- invest in children and youth
- involve local and regional communities
- empower international artists in Norway
- advance international and national cultural collaboration
- promote knowledge and develop methodology
- collaborate with municipalities, the cultural sector, research and educational institutions
- present intercultural art, concerts and activities of high quality to all the inhabitants in the region of Drammen
