General information
The school of arts and culture offers education and training in music, the visual arts and drama.
The school of arts and culture wishes to appear as a creative greenhouse, where children and young people acquire knowledge and skills within a broad span of artistic forms. The pupils learn to play an instrument or to train their voice for singing, alone or in company with others. They can also visit the art workshop to create their own piece of art or learn how to act in the drama room.
Target group
Pupils in primary, secondary and upper secondary school.
Prices
In 2011 the tuition fee is 1850 NOK pr. semester. Some pupils must pay additional fees, for example if they rent an instrument.
The fee is reduced for families having two or more children attending the School of Arts and Culture. Price reduction for for a place is set to 30 % for the 2nd And 50 % for the 3rd child and further. Pupils from low-income families may receive tuition free of charge.

Closing date
Pupils are generally accepted once a year, with closing date early May each year.
