Ergotherapy
Description
If you have problems carrying out your daily tasks because you are ill, or for other reasons, you may receive help from an ergotherapist. The ergotherapist will:
- assess your functions and adapt your activities and work routines
- supply and adapt technical aids
- adapt the physical environment in the home, the kindergarten, school and workplace.
This is part of the municipal multidisciplinary habilitation and rehabilitation service in the nursing home and in private homes.
Target group
Elderly or disabled persons or individuals who are sick or injured.
Criteria/conditions
The municipality will make an investigation and a professional assessment. It is your needs that determine whether you will receive the assistance from an ergotherapist.
Price
The service is free of charge.

Possibilities to appeal; procedure
If you consider that you have not received the necessary assistance or are not satisfied with the manner in which it was carried out, you may send a complaint to the municipality or directly to the responsible service provider. Explain why you are dissatisfied and which changes you would like to be made.
