Description
At the health centre you may receive
- a health check
- vaccinations
- pregnancy check-up
- advice on health, the child’s development, diet and more.
Importance is attached to preventive health measures. The health centre cooperates with the kindergarten, school and the health and social services as required. The public health nurse can also make visits in the home.
Target group
Children and youth aged 0–20 years, pregnant women and parents/guardians.
Price
The service is free of charge.

Guidelines – applying for, or receiving the service
When you have given birth, the health centre will contact you and arrange a time either for a visit in the home or a follow-up at the health centre. You will be invited for vaccinations and regular check-ups of your child.
Possibilities to appeal; procedure
If you consider that you are not receiving the necessary assistance or are dissatisfied with the service, you may send a complaint to the municipality or directly to the authority providing the service. Explain why you are dissatisfied and which changes you wish to be made.
