Free testing

  • Testing for corona virus is free

If your test result comes back positive (coronavirus detected), you will get a call from the municipality infection tracing team.

If your test result comes back negative (no coronavirus detected), the municipality will not call you. Your test results will be made available to you at helsenorge.no within 1-5 days after your sample was taken. Typically within 3 days. However, the time it takes to analyse the sample varies somewhat depending on how many people have been tested. The demand is currently high. Therefore, it may take up to 5 days before the result is ready.

For test results for your children under the age of 16, please see helsenorge.no.

If you are unable to log on to helsenorge.no, please contact your doctor (GP) for your test results.
